At Concierge Apartments we make a commitment everyday towards environmental responsibility. To that end, this has become and continues to be a priority for everyone in the organization. Once a property becomes part of Concierge, our team begins to evaluate opportunities to be an increasingly eco-friendly community.
As we move forward with this initiative customer service continues to be a priority. In fact, our customers expect their communities to be environmental sensitive. It is our mission to not only respond, but to be proactive in providing an environment for you to call home.
Some of our EarthCare Practices include:
- Energy efficient lighting practices on all new property renovation projects to reduce energy utility cost and benefit the community and environment.
- We monitor water billing, electricity, gas and trash removal in conjunction with an energy management company that specializes in energy eco-friendly business solutions.
- We work with suppliers who make “Green” practices a priority.
- Our laundry rooms are equipped for efficient water usage on all eleven renovation projects.
- Concierge replaces appliances with an “Energy Star” rating with guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Energy.
In addition to making our properties green and eco-friendly we “practice what we preach” by ensuring our properties and corporate office utilize Earthcare “best practices.”
Some EarthCare practices at the office include:
- In our daily work day, we only print on recycled paper. Where possible, we utilize both sides of the paper and recycle used paper with a local eco-friendly supplier.
- We support video conferencing, instant messaging and online training to help cut down on un-needed travel.
